I actually almost gave up on this painting. I tried different techniques without it giving me any joy. But finally, after many attempts and patience, I found more meaning and joy in the painting, and it has now become one of my favorites.
I didn't know what it was going to be, but most of the time the paintings end up as some kind of landscape. The rest of the details came naturally and the painting finally means a lot to me. It's also my first swans that I was super happy with! In the end, I got a kind of romantic feeling about the painting. That's why I ended up with the title "Romance".
